INJECTION MOLDED Construction
In this method, the upper is placed in a footwear mould, in which the outer sole is attached to the upper by an injection of a molten polymer (such as PU) or rubber. This molten material bonds very strongly to the upper material as it cools.
ERGO-NITRIL
This PVC Nitrile compound is particularly sturdy and flexible and its construction guarantees excellent resistance to hydrocarbons (2.3% increase in volume. EN ISO standards dictate <12% increase), great ease of movement due to the flexibility and stain-resistant special compound of the upper and stability on uneven terrain due to cleat height and outsole design.
STEEL TOE
Rated ASTM F2413-11 I/75 C/75, EN ISO 20345:2011 or CAN CSA Z195-09, steel toe caps protect the feet from falling or rolling objects.
ABRASION RESISTANT
Abrasion resistance is the ability of materials to withstand the effects of abrasion, such as repeated friction, wearing, rubbing, scraping, etc.
EVANIT
EVANIT insoles are constructed from EVA (Ethylene-vinyl acetate) and a nitrile compound, and have a high bearing capacity and variable thicknesses (12mm, 8mm and 3.8mm). They are anatomically thermoformed (heated and formed in a mold), punched, covered in a highly breathable fabric, and antistatic.
STAINLESS STEEL MIDSOLE
Steel midsoles are cut from a roll of steel and the edges are treated to remove any sharpness or burrs. Stainless steel are corrosion resistant and hence will not break down. Stainless steel midsoles are slightly flexible and they protect the foot against the finest sharps and glass, including needles.
