I have spent much of this year researching Sandro Botticelli and the Great Love of his life, Simonetta. They were another pair of history's Great Lovers. She was Sandro's muse, and when she died young, he spent the rest of his life painting her. His request, when he died to be buried at her feet; and so he is. Let us celebrate Love!
