These unique scrunchies are crafted using deadstock from local designers or discarded/clearance fabrics, end of rolls.  This scrunchie is the most sustainable and unique hair accessory you will ever own! This is an oversized scrunchie (even in the mini size) as it uses a wider amount of fabric compared to other mass-market scrunchies. Because of this it will show a lot of volume and will stand out on your hair. 

Size

The Mega is our most popular size and absolute bestseller. It’s not exaggerated like the Giga but it’s not small either, so it will pop. We believe the Mega is slightly more dressier than the Mini, but it will also depend how you style it. If you are unsure you can always try mini and take it from there. We have a size for everyone!

How to Style It

This scrunchie is made with a generous amount of fabric and a thin elastic. The fit will depend a lot on what kind of hair you have, yet it suits all types. We always recommend not more than two loops for all the three sizes (mini, mega, giga). The design is made for a soft look with a loose pony or bun or braid, but you can get a tight look by using your elastic band first and then pop the scrunchie over it. For some styles (hand-dyed) you can gently style it by dragging the edge out so it sits in a way where the dye you want to see is showing.

Material 

This scrunchie is made of 100% Viscose. This is a beautiful fabric that has been chosen with the scrunch test. This means the fabric is scrunched for 30 seconds and then released to see if it remains wrinkled or the scrunch smoothes out. The fabrics we use are chosen because it doesn’t scrunch so it smoothes out. This means it will keep the volume and curves use after use!
